Renewing the old recipes

It tastes of Colriain.

What started as home brewing at the request of a friend who couldn’t find blueberry wine has now grown to becoming a licensed winery. The name comes from the signature red label around the neck of each wine bottle.

We’ve taken Granddad’s recipes and updated them to work with modern equipment, making a product rooted in the history of farming in Colrain.

Back in the old days, in my grandfather’s time, whatever you didn’t sell would turn to pies, preservatives or, in may cases, alcohol.
